Provided is an information transmission device comprising a mode command unit (24) that commands a first mode to permit voice output by a voice output unit (14) or a second mode to prohibit the voice output, an image control unit (25) that controls an displayed image on a display unit (11) so as to display an agent image including a face image of an agent, and an output determination unit (23) that determines whether information is to be output to a user. The image control unit (25) controls the displayed image so that a first agent image having a first face image is displayed when a voice input unit (13) inputs voice by utterance of the user under a state where the mode command unit (24) is commanding the second mode, while a second agent image having a second face image is displayed when the voice input unit (13) does not input voice by utterance of the user and the output determination unit (23) determines that information is to be output under a state where the mode command unit (24) is commanding the second mode.
