Summary: | A robot control method and a robot system. The method comprises: driving a robot to walk a predetermined number of laps along a patrol path and separately recording position coordinates of each record point during walking; storing the record points corresponding to the first circle of walking in a first storage linked list and storing the remaining record points in a second storage linked list; sequentially invoking respective record points in the first storage linked list as basic coordinate points and searching the second storage linked list to sequentially select m record point groups corresponding to each basic coordinate point; acquiring a boundary fitting point corresponding to each basic coordinate point according to the basic coordinate point and its corresponding m record point groups and forming a boundary fitting point sequence from a set of multiple boundary fitting points; and acquiring corresponding boundary points by means of the boundary fitting point sequence.
