L'invention concerne un procédé d'inspection d'une étiquette fixée à un emballage alimentaire consistant à : déterminer l'emplacement d'une pluralité de parties cibles de l'étiquette ; inspecter les parties cibles pour identifier au moins la présence d'informations textuelles et/ou graphiques dans chaque partie cible ; et déterminer si la comparaison de chaque partie cible avec des critères prédéterminés correspondants est réussie ou non ; et déterminer que l'étiquette est inacceptable si le nombre total de comparaisons réussies est inférieur à un seuil d'acceptation prédéterminé.
