A character enclosing machine, comprising a main plate (1) mounted on a machine frame. Several pairs of vertically disposed edgefold forming rollers (2) are mounted in sequence on the main plate (1); a shaping device (3) is provided at the upstream of the pair of edgefold forming rollers (2) at the head end; a feeding device (4) is provided at the upstream of the shaping device (3); a cutting device (5) is provided at the downstream of the pair of edgefold forming rollers (2) at the tail end; an arc bending device (6) is provided at the downstream of the cutting device (5); pairs of lower edge folding rollers (202) are provided in sequence at the lower end of the edgefold forming rollers (2); pairs of upper edge folding rollers (201) are provided in sequence at the upper end of the edgefold forming rollers (2); horizontally disposed limiting devices are provided between the upper edge folding rollers (201) and the lower edge folding rollers (202).
