This technology relates to a food preparation system configured to be capable of providing a new food preparation experience. A food preparation system according to one aspect of this technology comprises: a top plate unit configured from a first top plate and a second top plate; a top-plate driving unit that causes the first top plate to descend; a food preparation auxiliary unit provided on a side surface of a food preparation space formed due to the first top plate descending; an arm moving unit that moves, along a movement mechanism, a food preparation arm which has an attachment/detachment section enabling attachment/detachment of an attachment having a food preparation function; and an arm control unit that drives the food preparation arm according to a food preparation process. This technology can be applied to a modular kitchen having a robot function.
