The invention relates to a guardrail having barriers (2) and feet (1) intended to connect at least two barriers (2) having uprights (20) terminated by ends, each of the feet (1) having a part forming a coupling support (10) and at least one ballasting part (11), each coupling support (10) having at least two holding tubes (14), the ends of the uprights (20) and the holding tubes (14) interlocking, the ends of the uprights (20) being secured to the coupling supports (10). According to the invention, for each coupling support (10), an immobilizing plate (3, 3a, 3b, 3c) is fastened, preferably removably, to the upper ends of the holding tubes (14) and each upright (20) has a locking plate (21, 24, 26), the locking plates (21, 24, 26) being in one and the same plane, which is substantially parallel to and above the plane of the immobilizing plate (3, 3a, 3b, 3c), the immobilizing plate (3, 3a, 3b, 3c) and the locking plates (21, 24, 26) having removable complementary immobilizing means that prevent, in the immobilizing configuration, at least the rotation of the ends of the uprights (20) of the barriers (2) with respect to the holding tubes (14) of the coupling support. L'invention concerne un garde-corps comportant des barrières (2) et des pieds (1) destinés à relier au moins deux barrières (2) comportant des montants (20) terminés par des extrémités, chacun des pieds (1) comportant une partie formant un support d'accouplement (10) et au moins une partie de lestage (11), chaque support d'accouplement (10) comportant au moins deux tubes de maintien (14), les extrémités des montants (20) et les tubes de maintien (14) s'emboîtant entre eux, les extrémités des montants (20) étant solidarisées aux supports d'accouplement (10). Selon l'invention, pour chaque support d'accouplement (10), une plaque de blocage (3, 3a, 3b, 3c) est fixée, de préférence d'une manière amovible, aux extrémités supérieures des tubes de maintien (14) et chaque montant (20) comporte une plaque de verrouillage (21, 24, 26), les plaques de verrouillage (21, 24, 26) étant dans un même plan qui est sensiblement parallèle et dessus le plan de la plaque de blocage (3, 3a, 3b, 3c), la plaque de blocage (3, 3a, 3b, 3c) et les plaques de verrouillage (21, 24, 26) comportant des moyens complémentaires de blocage amovible empêchant en configuration de blocage au moins la rotation des extrémités des montants (20) des barrières (2) par rapport aux tubes de maintien (14) du support d'accouplement.
