The method comprises: a database server acquiring actual transaction data of a currency type under monitoring on a target transaction platform, and reference transaction data of said currency type on a reference transaction platform (S201); obtaining an actual value and a reference value of a transaction index according to the actual transaction data and the reference transaction data (S202); calculating a difference between the actual value and the reference value of the transaction index (S203); determining whether the difference exceeds a pre-determined threshold (S204); and if not, returning to step S201, and if so, sending an unusual transaction warning to a client (S205).
