Summary:Disclosed are a server information display system and method. The system comprises a server and an LCD module installed on a chassis of the server, wherein a BMC is installed in the chassis of the server. The LCD module comprises an MCU and an LCD display screen. The LCD display screen is connected to the MCU by means of an SPI bus, and the MCU is connected to the BMC by means of an I2C protocol. The LCD display screen is use for displaying server information, wherein the server information comprises server error information or a BIOS POST CODE. The MCU is used for obtaining the server error information or the BIOS POST CODE from the BMC, and controlling the backlight of the LCD display screen according to the server error information or the BIOS POST CODE.
