Provided is a security device that exhibits the effect of suppressing falsification. A security device (1) according to the present invention comprises: a forgery prevention structure (10) including a metal layer (13) with a plurality of slits (130), the forgery prevention structure (10) having a peak transmittance due to resonance in the metal layer (13); and an adhesive layer (20) provided on one main surface of the forgery prevention structure (10) and having a first part (21) in contact with a portion of the main surface and a second part (22) in contact with another portion of the main surface, wherein the first part (21) achieves lower adhesive strength with respect to the forgery prevention structure (10) than the second part (22).
