Summary:A wheel bearing assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a wheel hub, one or more inner wheels, an outer wheel, and one or more bearings, wherein, at the end of the vehicle body-side interior of the wheel hub, an accommodating space for accommodating a universal joint is provided, and along the inner circumferential surface of the accommodating space, a plurality of recesses, spaced apart along the circumferential direction, for accommodating a rotating element of the universal joint may be provided. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a first heat-treated hardened part is provided on the inner circumferential surface of the accommodating space, and the first heat-treated hardened part may comprise a part with which the rotating element of the universal joint comes into contact. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a second heat-treated hardened part is provided on the outer circumferential surface of the wheel hub, and the first and second heat-treated hardened parts may be formed so as not to overlap with each other.
