La présente invention concerne des systèmes et des méthodes qui peuvent inclure des modalités ultrasonores non invasives pouvant être portées pour traiter une variété de pathologies médicales, comprenant, mais sans s'y limiter, une maladie vasculaire périphérique. La modalité peut être un ultrason thérapeutique (TUS), et peut être configurée pour favoriser l'angiogenèse à l'intérieur d'un patient par stimulation de la cavitation et de la contrainte de cisaillement, entre autres mécanismes.
