[Problem] Conventional vintage-style or antique-style lumber does not have a natural worn look on the painted surface thereof and therefore it is evident that the lumber has been artificially processed. [Solution] The roller brush according to the present invention is configured such that a rotary shaft is rotated at a high speed at an angle that is an arbitrary right angle with respect to a direction in which a piece of lumber subject to surface processing is conveyed by rotary conveyance rollers and that is also a predetermined tilt angle with respect to the horizontal surface of the piece of lumber in the lateral direction of the roller brush, unlike conventional examples in which a rotary shaft is just fixedly arranged in parallel with the grain and the colored surface, which is obtained by coloring the grain, of a piece of lumber. According to this configuration, the way the roller brush such as a metal brush touches the piece of lumber differs between the left and right ends of the piece of lumber, and accordingly the grain and the colored surface obtained by coloring the grain are peeled off with different strength in the left and right sides of the piece of lumber by the tilted roller brush. It is therefore possible to perform uzukuri processing (uneven wooden surface processing) with which lumber having different designs in the lateral direction can be obtained. Le problème décrit par la présente invention est que le bois de type vintage ou de style ancien classique ne présente pas une apparence usée naturelle sur sa surface peinte et, par conséquent, il est évident que le bois a été traité artificiellement. La solution selon la présente invention consiste en une brosse à rouleaux conçue de telle sorte qu'un arbre rotatif tourne à une vitesse élevée selon un angle qui est un angle droit arbitraire par rapport à une direction dans laquelle une pièce de bois soumise à un traitement de surface est transportée par des rouleaux de transport rotatifs et qui est également un angle d'inclinaison prédéfini par rapport à la surface horizontale de la pièce de bois dans la direction latérale de la brosse à rouleaux, contrairement aux exemples classiques dans lesquels un arbre rotatif est fixé juste à demeure en parallèle au grain et à la surface colorée, qui est obtenue par coloration du grain, d'une pièce de bois. Selon cette configuration, la manière dont la brosse à rouleaux, telle qu'une brosse métallique, touche la pièce de bois diffère entre les extrémités gauche et droite de la pièce de bois et par conséquent le grain et la surface colorée obtenues par coloration du grain sont enlevés selon une force différente sur les côtés gauche et droit de la pièce de bois par la brosse à rouleaux inclinée.
