Summary:The image decoding method performed by a decoding device, according to the present invention, comprises the steps of: deriving, from a bitstream, transform coefficients for a current block; deriving an overlapped block motion compensation (OBMC) flag for the current block; deriving a prediction block for the current block by applying OBMC for the current block, if the value of the OBMC flag is true; deriving a transform set for the current block on the basis of the OBMC flag; deriving a residual block for the current block by processing the transform coefficients of the current block on the basis of the transform set; and generating a restored picture on the basis of the prediction block and the residual block. La présente invention concerne un procédé de décodage d'image réalisé par un dispositif de décodage, comportant les étapes consistant à: élaborer, à partir d'un flux binaire, des coefficients de transformation pour un bloc courant; élaborer un fanion de compensation de mouvement de blocs en chevauchement (OBMC) pour le bloc courant; élaborer un bloc de prédiction pour le bloc courant en appliquant l'OBMC pour le bloc courant, si la valeur du fanion d'OBMC est vraie; élaborer un ensemble de transformation pour le bloc courant d'après le fanion d'OBMC; élaborer un bloc de résidu pour le bloc courant en traitant les coefficients de transformation du bloc courant d'après l'ensemble de transformation; et générer une image restaurée d'après le bloc de prédiction et le bloc de résidu. 본 발명에 따른 디코딩 장치에 의하여 수행되는 영상 디코딩 방법은 비트스트림으로부터 현재 블록에 대한 변환 계수들을 도출하는 단계, 상기 현재 블록에 대한 OBMC(Overlapped Block Motion Compensation) 플래그를 도출하는 단계, 상기 OBMC 플래그의 값이 참인 경우, 상기 현재 블록에 대하여 OBMC 를 적용하여 상기 현재 블록에 대한 예측 블록을 도출하는 단계, 상기 OBMC 플래그를 기반으로 상기 현재 블록에 대한 변환 셋(transform set)을 도출하는 단계, 상기 변환 셋을 기반으로 상기 현재 블록의 변환 계수들을 처리하여 상기 현재 블록에 대한 레지듀얼 블록을 도출하는 단계, 및 상기 예측 블록 및 상기 레지듀얼 블록을 기반으로 복원 픽처를 생성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
