Es sind Heizeinheiten für einen Horizontalofen mit einem langgestreckten Prozessrohr zur Aufnahme einer Vielzahl von Substraten sowie ein Horizontalofen mit solchen Heizeinheiten beschrieben. Eine Heizeinheit weist wenigstens zwei als Teilrohr ausgebildete zueinander weisende Elemente auf, die als oberes und unteres Element in Vertikalrichtung übereinander liegen und die geeignet sind das Prozessrohr derart dazwischen Aufzunehmen, dass sie das Prozessrohr wenigstens teilweise radial umgeben, wobei die oberen und unteren Elemente jeweils wenigstens ein individuell ansteuerbares Heizelement derart aufweisen, das sowohl in Vertikalrichtung übereinander liegende und in Längsrichtung des Prozessrohrs benachbart zueinander liegende Heizelemente vorgesehen sind. Eine andere Heizeinheit weist wenigstens eine Vielzahl von separat ansteuerbaren ersten Heizelementen, die einen rohrförmigen Aufnahmeraum bilden auf, um das Prozessrohr über wenigstens einen Teil seiner Länge aufzunehmen und wenigsten teilweise radial zu umgeben und wenigstens ein Endelement mit einer Wärme reflektierenden Oberfläche und/oder wenigstens einem zweiten Heizelement, das sich im Wesentlich senkrecht zu einer Längserstreckung des rohrförmigen Aufnahmeraums erstreckt. Beide Heizeinheiten haben ferner eine Steuereinheit die konfiguriert ist zum individuellen und oder gruppenweisen Ansteuern der Heizelemente. Une autre unité de chauffage présente au moins une pluralité de premiers éléments chauffants pouvant être commandés séparément, lesquels forment un espace de réception tubulaire, de manière à recevoir le tube de traitement sur au moins une partie de sa longueur et à l'entourer au moins en partie dans le sens radial, ainsi qu'au moins un élément terminal doté d'une surface réfléchissant la chaleur et/ou au moins un second élément chauffant qui s'étend sensiblement perpendiculairement à une extension longitudinale de l'espace de réception tubulaire. Les deux éléments chauffants comportent en outre une unité de commande qui est configurée de manière à commander les éléments chauffants individuellement ou par groupes.
