Summary:The present invention relates to a method and a system for the treatment of exhaust gas from industrial processes comprising at least the following consecutive steps: a) passing an exhaust gas comprising volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and/or amines through a catalytic zone at elevated temperatures, said catalytic zone comprises a deNOx-catalyst and an oxidation catalyst thereby providing a first treated gas stream, and b) subjecting the first treated gas stream to ultraviolet radiation in order cause photooxidation. La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système pour le traitement de gaz d'échappement à partir de procédés industriels comprenant au moins les étapes consécutives suivantes consistant à : a) faire passer un gaz d'échappement comprenant des composés organiques volatils (VOC) et/ou des amines à travers une zone catalytique à des températures élevées, ladite zone catalytique comprenant un catalyseur deNOx et un catalyseur d'oxydation, fournissant ainsi un premier flux de gaz traité, et b) soumettre le premier flux de gaz traité à un rayonnement ultraviolet afin de provoquer une photo-oxydation.
