A computer-implemented method includes accessing a first configuration file defining a first key event that associates a first interface interaction with a first intended action; detecting, by an event handling process, a first user input at a user interface; determining whether the first user input corresponds to the first interface interaction; responsive to the first user input corresponding to the first interface interaction, providing an identifier of the first intended action; accessing a second configuration file defining a second key event that associates a second interface interaction with a second intended action; detecting a second user input at the user interface; determining whether the second user input corresponds to the second interface interaction without rebooting the device after accessing the second configuration file; and responsive to the second user input corresponding to the second interface interaction, providing an identifier of the second intended action. L'invention concerne un procédé mis en œuvre par ordinateur consistant à accéder à un premier fichier de configuration définissant un premier événement clé qui associe une première interaction d'interface avec une première action prévue ; à détecter, par un processus de gestion d'événement, une première entrée d'utilisateur au niveau d'une interface utilisateur ; à déterminer si la première entrée d'utilisateur correspond à la première interaction d'interface ; en réponse à la première entrée d'utilisateur correspondant à la première interaction d'interface, à fournir un identifiant de la première action prévue ; à accéder à un second fichier de configuration définissant un second événement clé qui associe une seconde interaction d'interface à une seconde action prévue ; à détecter une seconde entrée d'utilisateur au niveau de l'interface utilisateur ; à déterminer si la seconde entrée d'utilisateur correspond à la seconde interaction d'interface sans réinitialiser le dispositif après avoir accédé au second fichier de configuration ; et, en réponse à la seconde entrée d'utilisateur correspondant à la seconde interaction d'interface, à fournir un identifiant de la seconde action prévue.
