A method or system for provisioning an embedded universal integrated circuit card "eUICC" profile to an eUICC enabled SIM. The provisioning comprising, providing an always provisioned international mobile subscriber identity "IMSI" to the SIM, activating a base profile integrated circuit card identifier "ICCID" on the SIM, activating a selected eUICC profile with a network operator, and instructing downloading of the eUICC profile to the SIM by the network operator. La présente invention concerne un procédé ou un système de fourniture d'un profil de carte de circuit intégré universelle incorporée (eUICC) à un module SIM activé par la eUICC. Le procédé ou système consiste à fournir au module SIM une identité d'abonné mobile internationale (IMSI) toujours approvisionnée, à activer un identifiant de carte de circuit intégré (ICCID) de profil de base sur le module SIM, à activer un profil d'eUICC sélectionnée à l'aide d'un opérateur de réseau, et à donner l'instruction à l'opérateur de réseau de télécharger le profil d'eUICC sur le module SIM.
