[Problem] To provide an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program that enable estimation of the position of a controller corresponding to a wearable device of an inside-out type. [Solution] This information processing device is provided with: a user position estimation unit that, on the basis of a first captured image captured by a first imaging unit provided to a wearable device worn by the user, recognizes environment information of the surroundings of a user and estimates the position of the user in a real space; and a controller position estimation unit that estimates the position of a controller operated by the user, by referring to the recognized environment information on the basis of a second captured image captured by a second imaging unit provided to the controller. La présente invention a pour objet de fournir un dispositif de traitement d'informations, un procédé de traitement d'informations et un programme qui permettent une estimation de la position d'un dispositif de commande correspondant à un dispositif portable de type de l'intérieur vers l'extérieur.
