Summary:Method for the prophylactic treatment of the development of parasites in a food product with a powder comprising more than 40% by weight of an alkali metal bicarbonate, wherein the powder is in the form of particles having a medium particle size of at most 300 µm, and said treatment comprising mixing the powder with the food product, characterized in that at most 1000 ppm by weight of the powder is mixed with the food product. Cette invention concerne un procédé de traitement prophylactique du développement de parasites dans un produit alimentaire avec une poudre comprenant plus de 40 % en poids d'un bicarbonate de métal alcalin, la poudre se présentant sous la forme de particules ayant une taille moyenne de particule de 300 µm au plus, et ledit traitement comprenant le mélange de la poudre avec le produit alimentaire, l'invention étant caractérisée en ce que 1 000 ppm en poids au plus de la poudre sont mélangées au produit alimentaire.
