Summary:A light source device (10) comprising a light emitting element (12) for emitting a light having the following characteristics: a wavelength ranging from 435 to 520 nm, and a power density greater than 20 mW/cm², the light source device (10) provides an effective fluence to any contaminating and/or pathogenic agent greater than 11 J/cm2. The invention is also directed to a light source assembly comprising a product adapted to be in contact with a support or a medium, preferably the skin or a wound and a light source device (10) connected to the product for providing light to at least one contaminating and/or pathogenic agent present on a support or in a medium (C). L'invention concerne un dispositif de source de lumière (10) comprenant un élément d'émission de lumière (12) pour émettre une lumière ayant les caractéristiques suivantes : une longueur d'onde dans la plage de 435 à 520 nm, et une densité de puissance supérieure à 20 mW/cm², le dispositif de source de lumière (10) fournit une fluence efficace à tout agent contaminant et/ou pathogène supérieur à 11 J/cm2. L'invention concerne en outre un ensemble de source de lumière comprenant un produit adapté pour être en contact avec un support ou un milieu, de préférence la peau ou une plaie et un dispositif de source de lumière (10) relié au produit pour fournir de la lumière à au moins un agent contaminant et/ou pathogène présent sur un support ou dans un milieu (C).
