Summary: | The invention relates to an underwater imaging system, which comprises: - at least one image-acquisition device, - a lighting device intended for lighting an area located at least partially inside a field of the image-acquisition device, and - an image-processing device configured to process an image (30) acquired by the image-acquisition device. The image-processing device is configured to: - calculate an average light intensity of a portion of pixels of the acquired image (30) which have the greatest light intensity (A); - apply a Gaussian low-pass filter (34) to the acquired image (30) so as to obtain a filtered image (38); - calculate, from the quotient of the image filtered by said average light intensity, a transmission map (40) of the acquired image, said transmission map representing light transmission by each of the pixels of the acquired image; and - estimate, from said transmission map (40) and from the acquired image (30), a processed image (42) in which a contribution of the backscattering of the light is removed.
Le système d'imagerie sous-marine comprend: - au moins un dispositif d'acquisition d'image, - un dispositif d'éclairage destiné à éclairer une zone située au moins partiellement dans un champ du dispositif d'acquisition d'image, - un dispositif de traitement d'image configuré pour traiter une image acquise (30) par le dispositif d'acquisition d'image. Le dispositif de traitement d'image est configuré pour: - calculer une moyenne d'intensité lumineuse d'une portion de pixels de l'image acquise (30) qui présentent une intensité lumineuse la plus importante (A), - appliquer à l'image acquise (30) un filtrage du type passe-bas gaussien (34) de façon à obtenir une image filtrée (38), - calculer, à partir du quotient de l'image filtrée par ladite moyenne d'intensité lumineuse, une carte de transmission (40) de l'image acquise,ladite carte de transmission représentant une transmission de la lumière par chacun des pixels de l'image acquise,et - estimer, à partir de ladite carte de transmission (40) et à partir de l'image acquise (30), une image traitée (42) dans laquelle une contribution de la rétrodiffusion de la lumière est supprimée. |
