Provided is an optical display device which comprises a display area and a non-display area. The optical display device comprises: an optical display element comprising a first substrate and a second substrate facing the first substrate and having a metal wiring layer; and a first polarizing plate disposed on the upper surface of the optical display element. The first polarizing plate and the second substrate are extended lengthwise in comparison with the first substrate. The first polarizing plate has a light shielding layer formed therein so as to hide at least one part of the metal wiring layer. A fixing member is formed on an area surrounded by the first polarizing plate, the first substrate and the second substrate.
