Summary:The present invention relates to a method of preparing 4-aryl-1,2,4- triazolidine-3,5-dione of the formula (I) and 4-aryl-1,2,4-triazole-3,5-dione of the formula (VII). This method is particularly suitable as the synthesis of 4-aryl-1,2,4-triazolidine-3,5-dione of the formula (I) is made from the respective arylisocyanate of the formula (II) with a hydrazine carboxylate as a one pot reaction in an alcohol. La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation de 4-aryl -1,2,4-triazolidine -3,5-dione de formule (I) et de 4-aryl -1,2,4-triazole -3,5-dione de formule (VII). Ce procédé est particulièrement approprié pour la synthèse de 4-aryl -1,2,4-triazolidine -3,5-dione de formule (I) à partir d'un arylisocyanate respectif de formule (II) avec un carboxylate d'hydrazine en tant que réaction monotope dans un alcool.
