Summary:An anti-pin-catching ear tag applicator, comprising: hinge-connected first and second applicator bodies (1, 2), a pin holder (3), and an ear tag pin (4). The first applicator body (1) comprises a first handle (11) and a first applicator head (12). The second applicator body (2) comprises a second handle (21) and a second applicator head (22). The second applicator head (22) is provided with a secondary ear tag installation notch (23). The pin holder (3) comprises a pressing part (31) and a rotating part (32). An end of the pin holder (3) is movably connected to the first applicator head (12), such that the pin holder (3) is capable of rotating relative to the first applicator head (12) downward with the hinge-connected part as a central axis. A lower surface of the rotating part (32) is provided with the ear tag pin (4).
