Summary:The present invention relates to an anatomically shaped knee joint augment and, more specifically, to an anatomically shaped knee joint augment which is used in joint replacement arthroplasty so as to replace a lost bone portion. The augment is used in knee joint replacement arthroplasty so as to be coupled to a knee joint implant, and comprises: an upper surface which comes into contact with the distal surface of a base plate forming the body of a tibia member of the knee joint implant; and a lower surface which comes into contact with a cut section of the tibia, wherein: the lower surface is smaller in area than the upper surface, such that the augment has a shape tapering from top to bottom; and the middle line along which an outer surface meets a section formed when the augment is cut perpendicularly to the upper surface is shaped to be convexly curved outward of the augment with respect to a straight line connecting the upper point at which the middle line meets the upper surface and the lower point at which the middle line meets the lower surface, such that the augment corresponds to the anatomical shape of the cut bone portion. La présente invention concerne une augmentation de l'articulation du genou de forme anatomique et, plus particulièrement, une augmentation de l'articulation du genou de forme anatomique qui est utilisée dans une arthroplastie de remplacement d'articulation de façon à remplacer une partie osseuse perdue.
