This vehicular display device (1) displays a video of the periphery of a vehicle, and is provided with: a display (18a) on which the video is displayed; cameras (4, 6, 8, 10) that are installed in the vehicle and capture videos of the periphery of the vehicle; and a display control unit (20) that generates the video (D) by mask processing the videos captured by the cameras, using mask images (MR, MF) including semitransparent portions (M3, M4, M14, M16) corresponding to a vehicle body, and portions (M8, M18, M19) corresponding to windows of the vehicle and having lower transmittance than the portions corresponding to the vehicle body, and displays the video on the display.
