An air purifier is disclosed. The disclosed air purifier comprises a body including an air inlet port and an air outlet port formed therein, and an air blowing fan for suctioning external air through the air inlet port and discharging the suctioned air through the air outlet port; and a cylindrical filter unit positioned in an air flow path from the air inlet port to the air outlet port so as to filter air, wherein the filter unit can discharge air introduced thereinto through an entire ventilatable side wall of the filter unit.
