Described are a variety of embodiments related to an electronic device, and an electronic device according to one embodiment comprises: a display; a camera module; a communication module; and a processor. The processor can be set to: use the communication module to obtain, from an external device, a plurality of images corresponding to a plurality of pieces of content and data relating to a portion of content from among the plurality of pieces of content, and display, through the display, an image obtained using the camera module; display at least a portion of images from among the plurality of images on a designated area on the display while displaying the image obtained using the camera module; and when an input associated with an image corresponding to the portion of content from among the at least a portion of images is obtained, use the data to display a graphic image on an area corresponding to a selected object included in the image obtained using the camera module.
