L'invention concerne un dispositif d'insertion de bouchon urétral pour l'insertion d'un bouchon urétral dans l'urètre d'un sujet masculin. Le dispositif comprend : une extrémité d'insertion proximale ; une extrémité de préhension distale ; une partie centrale disposée entre l'extrémité d'insertion proximale et l'extrémité de préhension distale ; et un canal central comprenant un plancher et s'étendant axialement de l'extrémité d'insertion proximale vers l'extrémité de préhension distale et conçu pour accepter une section cordon du bouchon urétral.
