In the method a hardenable primary material is provided, the object is built up by successively hardening layers of the hardenable primary material, and the object is cleaned from excess material by moving the object and thereby generating a mass inertial force in the excess material. The invention facilitates the making of objects by additive manufacturing. L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un objet physique par fabrication additive. Selon le procédé, un matériau primaire durcissable est fourni, l'objet est construit par durcissement successif de couches du matériau primaire durcissable et le matériau en excès est éliminé de l'objet par déplacement de l'objet, ce qui génère une force d'inertie de masse dans le matériau en excès. L'invention facilite la production d'objets par fabrication additive.
