L'invention concerne une nouvelle combinaison comprenant l'inhibiteur de transfert de brin d'intégrase, le cabotégravir ou un sel ou un solvate pharmaceutiquement acceptable de celui-ci, avec l'inhibiteur de translocation de transcriptase inverse nucléosidique EFdA (MK-8591), ou un sel ou solvate pharmaceutiquement acceptable de celui-ci, des compositions pharmaceutiques les comprenant et des procédés d'utilisation de telles combinaisons et compositions dans le traitement de pathologies dans lesquelles l'inhibition de l'intégrase ou de la transcriptase inverse du VIH est bénéfique, par exemple, le VIH.
