Summary:A capsule for preparing a beverage comprises a substantially rigid capsule body with a circumferential wall and a base wall that border an inner space filed with a beverage ingredient. An open filling side of the capsule at an end of the circumferential wall opposite the base wall is covered with a lid of fluid tight material. The lid is provided with a preformed outlet opening suitable for draining the prepared beverage from the inner space when the capsule is used in a beverage preparation device. The outlet opening is fluid tightly closed by a removable cover element extending over at least part of the lid. L'invention concerne une capsule de préparation d'une boisson comprenant un corps de capsule sensiblement rigide ayant une paroi circonférentielle et une paroi de base qui bordent un espace interne rempli d'un ingrédient de boisson. Un côté remplissage ouvert de la capsule au niveau d'une extrémité de la paroi circonférentielle opposée à la paroi de base est recouvert d'un couvercle en matériau étanche. Le couvercle est doté d'une ouverture de sortie préformée appropriée pour évacuer la boisson préparée de l'espace interne lorsque la capsule est utilisée dans un dispositif de préparation de boisson. L'ouverture de sortie est fermée de manière étanche par un élément de couvercle amovible s'étendant au moins sur une partie du couvercle.
