Provided is a cosmetic composition that facilitates dispersion of fullerene in water. Also provided is a cosmetic composition which is used to prepare a fullerene-containing aqueous dispersion having a transluscent appearance and excellent dispersion stability. A cosmetic composition containing (A) an oil agent containing 0.001-0.3% of fullerene dissolved therein, (B) a nonionic surfactant, (C) a polyvalent alcohol, (D) an oil agent, and (E) water is used. The composition preferably has a bicontinuous structure. L'invention concerne une composition cosmétique qui facilite la dispersion de fullerène dans l'eau. L'invention concerne également une composition cosmétique qui est utilisée pour préparer une dispersion aqueuse contenant du fullerène ayant un aspect translucide et une excellente stabilité de dispersion. Une composition cosmétique contenant (A) un agent huileux contenant 0,001 à 0,3 % de fullerène dissous dans celui-ci, (B) un tensioactif non ionique, (C) un alcool polyvalent, (D) un agent huileux, et (E) de l'eau est utilisée.
