This work system is provided with: a self-propelled work machine; and a station to which the work machine is connected to be charged. The work machine is provided with a travel unit, a traveling control unit that controls the travel unit, a detection unit that detects the station, and an information acquisition unit. The information acquisition unit acquires input information inputted by a user. The input information includes information indicating the installation mode of the station. The traveling control unit sets a control parameter for the travel unit on the basis of the installation mode of the station in response to the detection of the station by the detection unit.
