An energy converting device comprises an energy converting circuit which is provided on a substrate and configured to convert an input direct voltage into an output direct voltage higher than the input direct voltage, wherein the substrate comprises a first layer and a second layer. The energy converting circuit comprises a plurality of semiconductor devices and a planar transformer. Each of the semiconductor devices is in a flat shape and mounted on the substrate. The planar transformer comprises a primary circuit arranged on the first layer and a secondary circuit arranged on the second layer. The secondary circuit is insulated from the primary circuit by an insulation layer between the first and second layers. La présente invention concerne un dispositif de conversion d'énergie comprenant un circuit de conversion d'énergie placé sur un substrat et conçu de façon à convertir une tension continue d'entrée en une tension continue de sortie supérieure à la tension continue d'entrée, le substrat étant pourvu de première et seconde couches. Le circuit de conversion d'énergie comprend une pluralité de dispositifs à semi-conducteurs et un transformateur planar. Chacun des dispositifs à semi-conducteurs est de forme plate et monté sur le substrat. Le transformateur planar comprend un circuit primaire placé sur la première couche et un circuit secondaire placé sur la seconde couche. Le circuit secondaire est isolé du circuit primaire par une couche isolante entre les première et seconde couches.
