The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cloth-stretching apparatus with which it is possible to obviate the need for a complex operation to pull on a cloth when the cloth is held by a feeding chuck, and to reduce the burden and operating time of an operator. A cloth stretching apparatus 10 is provided with: a pair of feeding chucks 22a, 22b that grasp adjacent corner parts Ca, Cb of a cloth C, respectively; a movement device 26 that moves the pair of feeding chucks 22a, 22b between a cloth C feeding position and a delivery position and pulls in the cloth C; and stretching chucks 42a, 42b that directly or indirectly take the cloth C from the pair of feeding chucks 22a, 22b and stretch the cloth C in a direction in which the adjacent corner parts Ca, Cb separate from each other. The movement device 26 has an individual movement trajectory p1, p2 corresponding to each of the feeding chucks 22a, 22b, whereby the pair of feeding chucks 22a, 22b can be moved independently of each other between the feeding position and the delivery position.
