A compressor that: compresses refrigerant including a hydrofluorocarbon having the characteristic of causing disproportionation reactions; and has provided therein an elastic bearing (2) as a heat-generation suppression unit (1) that suppresses excessive heat generation resulting from linear contact between an edge of a bearing (B) and a drive shaft (S) during rotation of the drive shaft (S), same being provided in a contact section between the drive shaft (S) and the bearing (B).
