An ink composition comprising a resin having gas-barrier properties, a colorant, and a solvent for ink formation; and printed matter obtained using the ink composition. The resin having gas-barrier properties is preferably a polyester resin or a polyester urethane resin, specifically, a noncrystalline polyester resin (1-1) or a noncrystalline polyester urethane resin (1-2), the resins (1-1) and (1-2) each having an ester skeleton that is a polycondensate of a polycarboxylic acid ingredient comprising at least one compound selected from among aromatic ortho-dicarboxylic acids and the anhydrides thereof with a polyhydric alcohol ingredient comprising at least one compound selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, butylene glycol, neopentyl glycol, and cyclohexanedimethanol. L'invention concerne une composition d'encre comprenant une résine ayant des propriétés de barrière aux gaz, un colorant et un solvant pour la formation d'encre; et une matière imprimée obtenue à l'aide de la composition d'encre. La résine ayant des propriétés de barrière aux gaz est de préférence une résine de polyester ou une résine de polyester uréthane, spécifiquement, une résine de polyester non cristalline (1-1) ou une résine de polyester uréthane non cristalline (1-2), les résines (1-1) et (1-2) ayant chacun un squelette ester qui est un polycondensat d'un ingrédient acide polycarboxylique comprenant au moins un composé choisi parmi les acides ortho-dicarboxyliques aromatiques et leurs anhydrides avec un ingrédient alcool polyhydrique comprenant au moins un composé choisi dans le groupe constitué par l'éthylène glycol, le propylène glycol, le butylène glycol, le néopentylglycol et le cyclohexanediméthanol. ガスバリア性を有する樹脂、着色剤、及びインキ化するための溶媒を含有するインキ組成物及び該インキ組成物を使用した印刷物。前記ガスバリア性を有する樹脂はポリエステル樹脂又はポリエステルウレタン樹脂が好ましく、オルト配向芳香族ジカルボン酸又はその無水物の少なくとも１種を含む多価カルボン酸成分と、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ブチレングリコール、ネオペンチルグリコール、及びシクロヘキサンジメタノールからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも１種を含む多価アルコール成分との重縮合体であるエステル骨格を有する非晶性ポリエステル樹脂（１－１）又は非晶性ポリエステルウレタン樹脂（１－２）であることが好ましい。
