[Problem] To provide an information processing device and an information processing method which allow a third party to use a sensitivity value as an index of a human value, thereby making it possible to enhance convenience of the sensitivity value. [Solution] An information processing device provided with: an accumulation unit for accumulating, on a user basis, a sensitivity value, which is an index acquired by quantifying a value of each of objects on the basis of an interaction between the objects; a communication unit for performing communication so as to be capable of receiving a use purpose and a sensitivity value request from a user and returning the sensitivity value of the user to the user; and a control unit for controlling the communication unit in such a manner that at a time when the use purpose and the sensitivity value request are received from the user, the sensitivity value of the user is returned to the user, at a time when the use purpose and the sensitivity value request are received from a third party that requests the sensitivity value of the user, the fact that the sensitivity value request is received from the third party is transmitted to the user with the use purpose thereof, and at a time when a permission from the user is received, a feeling value of the user is transmitted to the third party.
