The present invention relates to an apparatus (1) and a method for producing a thermoplastic product or a thermoplastic composite, in the form of a sheet and/or a multilayer structure, of indefinite length. The apparatus (1) comprises, and the method employs, means (2) for supplying a first material, means (3) for conveying the first material, means (4) for pre-consolidation and means (5) for consolidation of the first material, said pre-consolidation (4) and consolidation (5) means operating sequentially step-by-step. La présente invention se rapporte à une installation (1) et une méthode de fabrication dʼun produit thermoplastique ou dʼun composite thermoplastique, sous la forme dʼune plaque et/ou dʼun multicouche, dʼune longueur indéfinie.
