The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a control method thereof, and, more specifically, provides a mobile terminal comprising: a sensing unit; a wireless communication unit; a display unit for outputting a soft key; and a control unit, wherein the control unit senses a first input signal moving the soft key within the content in a state where content including at least one object is output on the display unit, divides the content into at least two regions based on the position of the moved soft key, and wherein the at least two divided regions comprise a first region and a second region.
