A compound of the present application has a low melting point, excellent flexibility, and the like such that: a phthalonitrile resin, or a prepolymer thereof or a polymerizable composition forming the same exhibits excellent processability and a wide process window; and improved impact strength can be ensured. The compound can form the phthalonitrile resin and the like in a liquid state or a rubber form. The phthalonitrile resin and the like can be applied to various uses.
