The present invention relates to a cell balancing system and method and, more specifically, to a cell balancing system and method, wherein the system supplies a charging voltage through two separately configured charging voltage sources and, when cell balancing is required, supplies an optimum charging voltage to each cell through a switch individually configured in the corresponding cell, so that the system can stably perform cell balancing.
