This polymer compound has: a first chain structure that is composed of a polyamide imide; and a second chain structure that is composed of a vinyl polymer and connects first chain structures to each other by being bonded to ends of the first chain structures. The vinyl polymer constituting the second chain structure is a random copolymer that is composed of a bonding constituent unit which has a side chain bonded to a first chain structure and a non-bonding constituent unit which does not have a side chain bonded to a first chain structure.
