Summary:A personal mobility device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first mobile unit which is worn on one foot of a user and includes a moving member for mobility, a driving member for supplying power to the moving member, and a controller for controlling the driving member; a second mobile unit which is worn on the other foot of the user and includes a moving member for mobility, a driving member for supplying power to the moving member, and a controller for controlling the driving member; and a smart device application for wirelessly communicating with the first mobile unit so as to control an operation of the first mobility unit, wherein wireless communication between the first mobile unit and the second mobile unit is performed on the basis of information obtained by wireless communication between the smart device application and the first mobile unit, whereby the second mobile unit can be controlled according to how the first mobile unit is controlled.
