The print device is controlled to sequentially print the at least two stitched consecutive print frames. L'invention concerne un procédé selon lequel la longueur d'une image est comparée à un seuil associé à un dispositif d'impression. L'image est subdivisée en une séquence de trames d'impression. Chaque trame d'impression présente une longueur égale ou inférieure au seuil. Une opération d'assemblage est effectuée sur au moins deux trames d'impression consécutives. Le dispositif d'impression est commandé de façon à imprimer de façon séquentielle les deux ou plus de deux trames d'impression consécutives assemblées.
