A folder type terminal having a bulk field plate. A field plate structure and a junction termination extension region are folded towards the interior of a device, and the thickness of a bulk drift region is fully utilized so as to reduce a lateral area of a terminal and relieve electric field concentration of a termination end of a PN junction. The position of a breakdown point is transferred from the original termination end of the PN junction to a bulk, so that the withstand voltage of the terminal can reach a breakdown voltage of a parallel plane junction.
