The wearable device includes: a light source irradiating light to a target area of a user; a light receiver receiving scattered light that is scattered in a bloodstream below the target area; a control unit determining a blood pressure value of the user on the basis of the intensity of the received scattered light; and a display unit displaying the determined blood pressure value.
