The method comprises: acquiring a media presentation description file, wherein the media presentation description file comprises index fragment information; obtaining an index fragment according to the index fragment information; parsing the index fragment to obtain reference frame information corresponding to a data fragment; parsing the index fragment to obtain data fragment information; obtaining the reference frame according to the reference frame information corresponding to the data fragment; and obtaining the data fragment according to the data fragment information.
