This electric motor is provided with: a rotor having a shaft; a stator that is provided surrounding the rotor; a first bearing and a second bearing, which support the shaft such that the shaft can rotate, and which are disposed at a distance from each other in the axis direction of the shaft; a molded resin section, which covers the stator, and which has a bearing supporting section that supports the first bearing; a conductive bracket, which is attached to the molded resin section, and which supports the second bearing; and a conductive member that is provided such that the conductive member is in contact with both the bearing supporting section and the bracket.
